Thanksgiving and Christmas Party

Thanksgiving was so fun this year!!! It was our turn to spend it with my family. My sis-in-law Bobbi Jo offered for us to spend it at her parents cabin in Cedar City. The cabin was amazing and it just felt so cozy. Their was a little snow, enough for Gregg to make a sledding trail. The little girls had so much fun riding down.

My sister Nikki made these cute pilgrim hats for the girls to wear.

Every year we have an annual Pedersen Christmas Party. When it is our turn to spend Christmas with my family my older sisters stay home because it is too hard with kids to travel with all their Christmas. This year we had our party over Thanksgiving so we didn't have to get together in a few weeks again. We have games and activities with the kids and we have a gift exchange for the kids only. Macy got a new puppy and Lily got Littlest Pet Shop and Raspberry Torte.

This year as with years past we have so much to be grateful for.
Most importantly our Savior Jesus Christ who has given us the opportunity to be with our families for eternity and for the opportunity to be cleansed from sin.
Our family. We love our girls so much. They mean the world to us and we are so happy we get to be their parents.
Eachother. I'm so grateful for Gregg. He is my world!

Such cute girls!

Lily turns 5!

5!! Seriously, where does the time go?? This year she wanted to have a Rapunzel birthday. So that's what she got! The actual day of her birthday we opened up presents at our house. Grandma took her to dinner wherever she wanted to go and she chose Golden Corral. The Friday after her birthday we let her have a friend birthday party this year and we had it at Jumpin' and Jivin'. A place that has blow up slides and bouncers. She invited her friends from Primary and her cousins. We love our sweet girl so much and although it is sad to see her grow up we also are excited as to who she is becoming!

Lily starts Preschool and Macy attempts dance!

This year with Lily starting preschool I thought it might be a good idea to put Macy in dance. So we asked her if she wanted to do it and she said Yes and was so excited. The first day she did great. Went in and was so happy to be there. The next week she was more hesitant so I stayed that day. I don't know what it is about my kids but when they get around other people they completely go shy. MACY IS NOT SHY!!! The next week she did not want to go. She said a little girl pushed her and she didn't like it. We tried and tried to talk her into it but she is only 3 and I wasn't going to force her to do it if she didn't want too. She looked cute for the few times she went anyways.

Lily has been waiting for school to come for years. She would always look out the window at the buses and ask when she could go to school. She was so excited to start her first day. I on the other hand was a teary mess. I couldn't believe my baby was old enough to go off to school. Her teachers are Miss Melissa and Miss RoseAnna and they seriously are the greatest teachers a mom and dad could ask for!! She has loved going to preschool and has done such a great job learning! We couldn't be prouder.

Summer Life 2011

Summer was such a busy time for our family. Gregg and I were Ma's and Pa's on the Glines Stake Trek the end of June! We really had such a great time and will never forget the experiences of it all. A week later we headed to Spanish Fork Canyon to spend the weekend at the Carlson Family Reunion. This is Gregg's dads and all his siblings and families. They get together every other year. This year we were there without Nels'. It felt empty to say the least. 2 weeks later we went down South. I took Lily to St. George a few days alone so we could go to Tuacahn's A Little Mermaid. It was amazing and we had such a great time. Any body that knows Macy knows that she just won't sit still for something like that. So she stayed home with Gregg. On Wednesday we headed to Lake Powell and met Gregg and Macy. We stayed a few days with all of Gregg's siblings. This is our annual Carlson reunion with immediate family. Last year was our first year doing it and everybody had such a great time we decided to make it an annual occasion! We then had the Pedersen family reunion with my dad's siblings and families. This is always just a Saturday over the 24th of July that we have lunch and get together. They had a blow up water slide which was a huge hit with the kids. The day before we ended up rafting the green river with most of the adults and older kids and had lots of fun. The weekend after that we had the Perry Reunion up at Massey Meadows. This is Gregg's moms siblings and families. I was so worn out with anything at this point that we just went up on Friday and spent all day instead of spending the night. 2 weeks after that we went out to Cowabunga Bay and Lagoon with my mom and dad and siblings. We really did have such a fun time with them as well but like I say I was so worn out at this point that I just wanted to have the summer be over!!! I have sworn I will never do another summer like that again....that being said it probably won't happen :)!

Dino Tri 2011

About 4 years ago Gregg talked about wanting to do a Triathlon. And every year sense he has continued to 'dream' about it. Well earlier this spring he gave in and bought a Specialized road bike and started training. His hang up has always been the swim but he has been practicing and finally accomplished his goal!!

He finished 4th in his age group, 19th in the male division and 39th overall out of 114! For his first time I thought this was pretty awesome. He finished in 1 hr. 32 min and totally rocked his first triathlon! We had such a fun time cheering him on and the girls were so proud of there dad! We love you Babe!
