Funeral

On December 22, 2010 Gregg's dad, Nels Carlson, passed away just 5 days short of his 65th birthday. The weekend of Thanksgiving while down in St. George he got sick with the flu and finally a week later took him into the ER. After accessing his situation they induced him into a coma and hooked him up to a ventilator. After 3 weeks of fighting for his life it came to our attention that he had carbon dioxide narcosis, which means he wasn't releasing his carbon dioxide and it was staying put in his lungs. The Dr.'s put him on comfort measures and 2 days later he finally passed. It ended up being a blessing for him! Although hard, we all know he is happier with his now youthful body!

At the viewing.

Hailey kept going up to grandpa and rubbing him and talking to him.

Funeral Day.

Some of the grandkids saying good bye one last time!
Dad had asked for bagpipes to be played at the cemetary and this man did a great job!

Lily was covering her ears when the bagpipe was being played.
They had the older boy grandkids be the pallbearers and that was a neat thing for everyone to see!
All the boys with there roses placing them on his casket.

They had roses for all the girl grandkids to put onto the casket!

The cemetary was really hard on all the grandkids, thus making it hard on all of us parents! It was a special moment.

I love this picture of the boys, it was tough to hold in emotions.

Christmas 2010

Christmas dresses!!

Christmas Eve this year was spent at my mom and dad's house. Jodi, Jesse, and Mylee came out and we had a such a great night. We enjoyed dinner and playing games. I love getting together with family! It truly is a joy of mine.

Christmas morning Lily woke up and was so excited! This has been the funnest year for our family because of the excitement of our kids. She got the cutest barbie house!!
Macy was so excited too although I don't know how much she understood but she picked out this kitchen and she loves it!
Man that Santa is good, he knew how much she loves Yo Gabba Gabba!
Lily has been wanting a Pillow Pet since she saw the commercial in August! And she has slept with hers and just loves that pillow pet!
More Princess Barbies!!!!

We are so grateful for these two girls! We love them both so much and we love how completely opposite they are! I have really enjoyed this Christmas season and enjoyed teaching Lily what the "real" reason of Christmas is! When anyone would ask her what Christmas means, she'd say love. And really that is true, the love of a Heavenly Father to send his only begotten son to this world to suffer for our sins and to die for us so we can return to our Heavenly Father, what a great example of love from our brother, Jesus Christ!!!

Pedersen Christmas Party

Saturday morning Grandma and Grandpa had Santa's workshop for the kids. They made candy necklaces, a jingle bell necklace and frosted cookies.

Saturday night we played a murder mystery dinner game. Murder at the Kringles Annual Block Party! It was really fun. Fiona Collins got stabbed with a candy cane and Fiona Collins was yours truly! Everyone loved to hate on Fiona so I spent all night being yelled at! Good thing Fiona was a snot herself and dished it all back!!!
